In his key note speech at the Toronto Economic Forum on October 17, 2022, Mr. Prem Watsa, CEO of Fairfax Financial Holdings, spoke about his Greek investments and his belief that Greece is the best European country to investing in.
Dr. George Athanassakos commented on Mr. Watsa’s presentation saying the following, “Mr. Watsa’s is indeed a true believer in Greece. In fact, I reflected on this in my opening remarks at the 2nd European Value Investing Conference that took place in Athens on October 7, 2022, where I stated that Prem is not only a great investor in Greece, but also a great believer in Greece’s potential”.
